MEET JESSICA & JORGE
We’re the husband-and-wife team behind The Sip Stop, based in Kelseyville, California.
HOW IT STARTED
Our story begins in the Dominican Republic, where Jorge was born and raised. He spent more than ten years working aboard cruise ships, developing the warm, attentive style of hospitality that remains at the heart of everything we do today.
We met in 2019 when Jessica boarded a cruise bound for Cuba. What began as an unexpected meeting at sea quickly became something neither of us wanted to leave behind.
In February 2020, just before the world went into lockdown, we eloped and began building our life together in Kelseyville, California. The Sip Stop grew from the qualities that brought us together: Jorge’s natural warmth and hospitality, Jessica’s creativity and thoughtful attention to detail, and our shared love of making every celebration feel genuinely special.
JESSICA
An operations manager by day, Jessica brings thoughtful planning, clear communication, and a creative eye to The Sip Stop. She keeps every detail moving—from the first inquiry and custom beverage menu to the timeline and finishing touches.
JORGE
Jorge brings an effortless warmth to every celebration. Behind the bar, he keeps service polished and flowing while making each guest feel genuinely welcome. His energy, attentiveness, and natural instinct for hospitality make the bar more than a place to grab a drink—it becomes a memorable part of the celebration.
